Language and Cognition

Bilingualism, cognition, and the brain

Bilingualism influences far more than language use alone. Through ERP and fMRI studies, my collaborators and I investigate how speaking multiple languages shapes cognition, emotion processing, and neural control networks. Our research aims to better understand the cognitive and neurological mechanisms that support bilingual language processing and decision-making.
